When I booked this hostel I was a little afraid because I had seen on the map that it is far away from the centre of Madrid, and I was wondering if I would find there the tourist atmosphere I was looking for. I had fear to end up in a miserable setting, like an old galleon demolished by years of battles, perhaps with a few rats around the hold. My doubts disappeared when I checked in and spoke to the manager and the cleaning girl, very nice people who were showing a great desire to do well and to make sure that the tourists arriving found an atmosphere and environment that suited them. I had a wonderful weekend, I felt in a familiar and welcoming spot much more delightful than some unhappy lodging establishments with hundreds of beds, where I sometimes felt I was treated like a thing. By the way, the hostel is very close to the metro station, and in a few minutes you can get anywhere in Madrid. It is clean, functional and all the main services are provided, the neighbourhood in which it is located seemed to me quiet and pleasant.

The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable for me, luckily I had quiet and friendly roommates all my 4 nights :) The hostel location is 3 minutes to the metro. I travel a lot and had a few hostels in my life, but this has been my top 1 so far.
