Poppies Hostel is super well located, only a two minute's walk to the beach and surrounded by good bars and restaurants. The owners are MORE than kind, extra helpful and always smily. I extended my stay from one to five nights and they immediately upgraded me to a private room with private bathroom without charging me extra. The room itself was really clean and enjoyable ! I definitely recommend staying there !

I loved this hostel! The beautiful, authentic architecture of the hostel and surrounding nature created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Rooms were impeccably clean. And our hosts were amazing and very accommodating!

The owner is honest, present and very friendly. The property has cats around, i still miss them 🥹 the hotel is clean, lovely, charming. We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner also does homemade banana pancakes for his guests (10/10 🤤). We loved the concept of this place. We recommend 100% !

We loved our stay! The room was very clean, toilets and showers are shared but they are very clean as well, there is a nice pool, comfy areas to rest outside, handball court, lots of trees with flowers and cozy green areas. Brekfast was also great, you get fruits, tea/coffee and a menu to choose from. As Gili Air is small, you can be anywhere in 10 mins. We walked to the beach for about 7 mins where all the bars and restaurants are. It's incredible how cheap it is for what it is worth!

Gili La Boheme has a garden, a shared lounge and a sun terrace with swimming pool and buffet breakfast in Gili Trawangan.

The best Hostel experience i‘ve ever had so far, if you‘re alone, Dul will help you wherever he can;) It was really familiar and i definitely don‘t regret it that i booked that hostel and not another one;) Also the little area of the hostel was not to big but perfect to hang out, talk to some people, whatever and there was never a loud party where you couldn’t sleep, just a little bit of jamming with Dul, the worker in the hostel. If you want to cook some rice or something just give it to one of the workers and they’ll not say no or at least cook it for you which may be important if you‘re a spearfisher or at least go fishing;) Definitely worth it to spend your time in that hostel!!!

Some places really do leave an imprint on your Soul, and Uncle Hippie's is one of them. Because the place has been built with so much care, love and a truly collaborative approach between local and foreign investment .... there is an accompanying feeling that you get when you arrive. Yuri is a lovely legend, chill vibes all round. The place is petite and the rooms are small but have everything you need. Love the bamboo structures. It's close to amazing snorkelling (turtles!) and eateries .... the island is tiny so you can walk / cycle everywhere. I hope to return x
