Honestly everything was amazing. Great building, view, facilities, bedrooms, common room, clean and the price is ridiculously good. The host went above and beyond, driving me to the convenience store and bus station early in the morning, and sharing a beer with me in the evening and gave me the best restaurant recommendation. Location very good for Nachi Taisha too.

I slept in the dorm, a new experience! It was quiet all night, and enough room in the capsule. Clean and nice showet. Nice staff. The hostel is right by the train station so it was very convenient as I was taking the train early the next morning. I came from Nachi (Kumano Kodo) and the bus stopped right outside the hotel. Cheap, nice hostel if you need a place to sleep in Katsuura.

A great place to stay when exploring Kumano Kodo. All our requests were filled - and more! The owner is great, the room (the smaller room) is very cozy and we slept well on the tatami + mattresses. Even when it was cold outside, the AC/heater kept the room warm, and there was multiple blankets to use as well. Everything, including the room and the shared areas, were super clean and nice! Thank you!

Great location, super beautiful interior design. The owner has some businesses downstairs, selling beauty products and local products. Everything was so nice and clean. While the host didn't speak EN, and check in went a bit fast and could be perceived as overwhelming, she would be there to help where needed. Translators apps are useful. I would definitely stay here again and I can recommend trying out the herbal tent for 2500 yen! Please also add your review to Google Maps as this place deserves some reviews there too.
