The receptionist was willing to go the extra mile, he even shared his dinner with us. Late checkout was possible with no extra charge, the receptionist was willing to wait for me for a late check in, nice terrace and benches outside reception as well as kitchen and common parts. Beds were clean and comfortable had a good sleep, dorm was quiet at night, good AC. Futons are surprisingly comfortable. Common room seemed to be quite busy most nights if you are the social type. Pretty good location, 15 minutes or so from Namba Station. Easy enough location to get around. "Poorer" area so provides an interesting and different look into Japanese life, always felt safe though.
