The dorm is really good—clean, with comfortable beds, and the setup is well thought out. The toilets and showers are separate, and the bathrooms are divided by gender, which is a nice touch. They even provide a hair dryer, and the hot water works well, though it’s more warm than hot. The staff are polite and super friendly, making the atmosphere welcoming. The pool is clean and a great place to relax, and the on-site restaurant serves tasty meals. The location is excellent, especially if you’re planning to visit Koh Rong Island, as it’s close to the pier. It’s a perfect transit spot for travelers. Highly recommend!

Super Guesthouse with great employees and very friendly owners. We felt completely comfortable and relaxed. The house as well as the outdoor areas and the pool are very well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and cheap. We were even allowed to spend the whole day in the complex after checking out, since our bus didn't leave until the evening. The cats are of course the icing on the cake.

Amazing staff in a very peaceful environment! They take really good care of the customers and try to clean the beach as much as they can! Good menu with menu items being custom-able to your choice.

This was the perfect place to relax for a couple of days. The accomodation is very simple, so be prepared for that. Nak is a wonderful host and obviously loves the island and hosting his guests. His partner cooks all the meals and everything I had was very good. The island is a very short boat trip from the mainland and Nak sent me directions on how to get to the pick-up shortly after I booked my stay. He also arranged for my trip back to Sihanoukville. The accomodation is basic so here’s a list of things to think about: - the only power comes from a generator which runs from 6-9 pm, so bring a power bank for your phone and a torch for the night - there’s no wifi but I had a good connection with my phone - don’t forget the mosquito repellent and a cream for insect bites Overall I enjoyed my stay at Nak’s Shack and can recommend it.

Very nice balance between social and relaxing hostel. Directly at the beach. The bathrooms are kept clean the whole day through. Restaurant is good.
