What a gem of a place! We had the private double room over the kitchen and it had everything we could have needed. It was quiet, clean, and one of the best places we’ve stayed on our CA trip so far. The host was lovely and friendly, laundry was done super quickly. One minor comment was that we would have loved it if the kitchen had a toaster and kettle.

I loved everything about El Pital! It’s a wonderful place immersed in nature. They have great food and many ingredients are coming straight from their garden. Also the cacao ceremonies and daily yoga classes are amazing. The staff is lovely and always helpful. I did the cacao tour with Justin and it was so insightful. I highly recommend staying here. I‘ll definitely be back someday :)

Beautiful hostel, friendly and helpfull staff, all well organized, clean rooms, comfy bed, high speed internet and fantastic food. Bar with biggest selection of beers I saw in Nicaragua. What more could one want?

Lovely place to stay. Highly recommend. Rooms clean and well equipped. Family run hostel and they were very welcoming and helpful. Small restaurant on site with really good food and coffee for a good price. Central location and only 10 min walk from the port.
