IndiaThe hostel is not close to the city centre if that is what you are looking for. It is about a 30-minute bus ride from the Bryggen area. The hostel is located at the base of Mount Ulriken and gives a panoramic view of the Bergen city. This hostel pushed my expectations about hostels a bit further in terms of facilities and hospitality. Clean rooms, ample lounge area, included breakfast. Everything is positive here.

United KingdomFantastic location. Room was spacious, with big lockers, a desk and a couple of chairs. Kitchen was also large and well equipped. Hostel is on the 4th floor, so had great views from both the room and the dining area. All guests I encountered were polite and respectful. I didn't use it, but there was a laundry facility available for a charge.

Was travelling alone and felt extremely safe. I stayed in a 10 women dormitory, bed were comfortable and the private bathroom was cleaned. There also was a locker for each person, no need for your own lock, they use keys.

Amazing facilities - great kitchen, the best hostel breakfast I’ve ever had and it was included in the price! comfy beds and very clean facilities, staff were also super friendly and helpful! great location for hikes and overall great value for money
