Norwayi loved the staff, all very friendly and informative.
the included breakfast contained waffles, toast and hot/cold beverages that I enjoyed each day.
the showers are potentially the best showers in any hostel I've been to, being very spacious with hot water needed in such a cold landscape.
lastly I liked the lounge. they had 2, and each had a very comfortable sofa with soft pillows and a TV you could stream shows with. Had amazing time talking to fellow travellers!

The bathrooms are enough and clean. The breakfast was rich for hostel. Everyday was the same but you can eat good. The kitchen and hall was common but the hostel is calm. Bearing in mind that it has no real competition, it is still nevertheless a very good hostel. Breakfast pancakes are great, staff are friendly, it is fairly sociable. The rooms are somewhat small, but the kitchen/social area is spacious enough, and in any case if you come to Svalbard for the bedroom then there's really little point.Guest review byDarrynSolo traveller

Staff were so friendly and let me stay in the breakfast room till my taxi arrived.
