Our stay at the Paintshop Hostel was wonderful in every way! We felt welcome right from the moment we arrived – the whole team was incredibly kind and attentive. Debbie not only organised a great surf lesson for me, but also gave us some fantastic tips for beautiful spots in and around Figueira. Thanks to Dani, we experienced some of the most beautiful sunsets and ate the best tacos of our holiday at her friend's little restaurant. I really enjoyed chatting with Nina – she always made me laugh with her open, warm manner and was constantly checking on everyone's well-being. The vibe at the hostel was totally laid-back and perfectly matched the seaside location. Overall, you can feel that a lot of passion and effort goes into the work here. I would love to come back!
