The Purple House is a wonderful place in Koh Phangan, with super kind and attentive staff and amazing girls and women from all over the world. I stayed for a few days, then I decided to extend my stay because it feels like a safe space with beautiful energy. Highly recommend!

Amazing people and vibes! When it’s full moon, 5 days party in row and variety of party which is pool party, bubble party, karaoke party!! Also there’s free shot from 10pm. It’s the best hostel to go for pre party 🥳 When it’s between full moon, so chill and quiet! You can have relax time and local vibes. Everyone is like a family in the hostel! Location was perfect for my purpose, as I wanted to stay close to the Thongsala Pier. The ambience is very pleasant, bright, and soothing. Staff is wonderful, helpful, and patient and even the owners are amazing folks, whom I was fortunate to have met. It is newly constructed and fresh. I even got invited to their opening party, which was amazing, as I got to meet most of the partners investing in this hostel. Its definitely worth every dime I paid. Even though its smaller than most hostels, it was one of my best ones in my trip to Thailand, this year. Next time I return to KP, surely checking-in to this place.

Everything I needed for my stay :) the dorms/bathrooms/common area were kept very clean, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Not too loud at night which is always a bonus on a party island. Thank you for everything!! <3

The hostel is conveniently located close to the Pantip market, and is close to a Seven Eleven. The rooms are great for relaxing from a day of exploring or a night of partying, and have everything you'd expect from a modern hostel, including air condititioning and a directly connected bath room. All in all, I found it to have a great value for the money. I wish the new owner of the hostel, Tahsin, all the best with his ambitions to make this hostel even better.

    Fantastic friendly hostel in a great location. I stayed in the 5 person dorm - rooms were big and clean and the bed very comfy - the bathroom is actually really cool. All the hostel staff are so friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. There's a really high quality pool table as well! Will definitely stay at Tangerine Dream again - thank you :)

    EVERYTHING!!! it was welcoming, felt safe, great location, very good value for money, the beds were super comfortable, friendly atmosphere but most of all the thing that really made our stay here special was the host, he was so friendly and helpful, he gave us suggestions on where to go and offered to get tickets for events for us. Absolutely cannot recommend this place enough.
