The location was great, very central, and easy to find. I liked the breakfast and coffee, and the staff were all really pleasant and extremely helpful. We even got "sent with water" on the way back to the airport...I don't know what the gentleman with the Australian accent is called but he was really friendly, helpful and overall a great guy! All the staff were amazing.

The managers at the hostel did an excellent job making sure we needed anything during our stay! Our first night we joined the pub crawl and had such a great time getting to try different bars and making new friends! Ozzie and John were helpful, fun and when we wanted to leave the pub crawl early (we had a long travel day) they helped us to get back to the hostel safely. They provided so much information on where to eat, what to see, how to get about the city they made the trip so much better! I will definitely recommend the cheers vintage hostel to friends and when I come back ton Istanbul will plan on staying there again!

It really does feel like visiting a vibrant and lively home rather than a hostel, all thanks to the staff that feel like they aren't working there but pop in to hang out. Their rota seems very organised and seamless. I had a great time meeting so many lovely people. Having stayed in a dozen hostels now I can wholeheartedly recommend this one. (Also the location is excellent for the old city)
