There was a peace and harmony away from the busy NYC life after long days at work. The staff was extremely friendly. I was skeptical upon arrival but quickly realized that was exactly what I needed. I very much appreciated the healthy breakfast offered daily. I'm definitely coming to stay there again in future.

The staff was very accommodating. They helped me check in earlier than 3 pm it's the regular check-in time. Also, the bed that I had taken was occupied by someone else. They helped me to shift to another room which was very comfy and quiet and nice. coffee all times available. nice lounge / reading speaces with libary is fantastic.

This is an excellent place to stay in NYC. We walked from here to most of the main tourist hotspots or a subway station is very close too. The room was expected size for New York, but the three of us were very comfortable. The facilities were clean and had really cool artwork everywhere. The staff were lovely and accomodating and the breakfast each morning was lovely. Would absolutely stay here again, really great choice and value for money. Also had great security on the building and always feel secure and safe.

Nolita express is an historical building served as a military campus back on 1927. Today the building is fully renovated, and its location is downtown Manhattan close to all the most animated neighbourhoods ! Also , it’s charming and classy, the decoration is French style, and we can hear jazz music all around the common areas of the hostel. I was lucky to be there for one week and I was one of the first clients. In the beginning I had a small room , after the manager upgraded me to a double room for the same price ! Both 2 managers and ALL staff were great and I appreciate their help. Every time I was asking for something they were listening and paying attention. Bathrooms and kitchen are very clean. Rooms don’t have a ceiling and this is normal : we could not breathe otherwise ! It’s normal also that we hear noises of other people sleeping, it’s a hostel. But if we see the prices of the hotels in NY, living in Nolita hostel is the best option. Also I was feeling very secure in the hostel : 24h/24h there is someone in the entrance and also there all a lot of security cameras I was lucky and I strongly recommend it to everyone else.
