Had to leave quickly in the morning to get back to La Paz as I was feeling unwell, and the owners helped me quickly call a taxi. With eight individual beds, and bathrooms that accommodated all of our group, this was the perfect place for us to stay! We flew into La Paz for a mountaineering trip, and many of our flights landed early in the mornings. The host, Oscar, was top notch and very amenable to setting up shuttle rides for our group members and gear bags. He was also super attentive to all of our needs during our stay. Whether it be refilling water jugs, or currency exchange, Oscar was the best host!!

The hostel enjoys a privileged location in the centre of this exotic city and is surrounded by commerce, museums and an array of gastronomical options. The house of Murillo, founder of the city, is only 100 metres away and the famous witches-walk is a 5-minute walk from the property. El Alto International Airport is a 30-minute drive away and the bus station is a 7-minute walk from the Hostal. We really liked this hostel. Our room was very cozy and had a lot of sunlight. Breakfast was nice! Staff was also very friendly and helpful. We booked a tour to Pico Austria which we can also recommend.
