Plus I got a room with a view of the beach off the varanda which I loved.

The person in charge was such a nice person, he escorted me to the bus stop with an umbrella the morning I left to make sure I didn't get wet. He was also very helpful about what to see in Salvador and how to get to places. The location couldn't be better, midpoint between the historic centre and beaches/ historic lighthouse, all within walking distance. The neighbour is lined with big old trees and nearly the hostel are museums, particularly the Museum of Art where people can view (currently) Carybé"s sketches of Bahía and his time in Salvador. Very nice indeed.

At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a desk. At Evoé Caraíva every room is equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom. Everyone was very friendly and wanting to help. The breakfast is amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and the view and access to the beach is great. The staff helped us with arranging our travels and gave us great advice for activities around Caraiva. We surely will come back!

It was exceptionally clean, with a great breakfast, in a really good location. Rafael could not have been more helpful, he was always available to answer questions and offer recommendations. If you’re looking for a calm, peaceful place to stay in Itacaré, I hugely recommend!

At the hostel, each room comes with a patio with a garden view. I loved staying here! The hostel opened recently and is run by two lovely sisters. The whole hostel feels like a safe, beautiful and nurturing oasis. It attracts interesting and great women. The shared kitchen is great. They have some great information on hikes etc in the area! Would super super super recommend!
