Before coming to Rio, I was a bit worried about safety, but this hostel completely put my mind at ease. It has its own secure entrance, which made me feel very safe. The metro station is just a few minutes’ walk, making transportation super convenient. There are several supermarkets nearby, which is very handy, and the beach is only about a 20-minute walk away—perfect for a stroll or relaxing. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely choose this hostel again next time I visit Rio!

Located in Búzios, a 12-minute walk from Armação Beach, Bamboo Búzios Hostel has a number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi. Outstanding hostel in every way. Knowledgeable, accommodating, super-friendly, and upbeat staff. Oceanfront location. Comfortable, airy rooms with lights and plugs at each bed, and an individual locker assigned for each bed. Huge windows that slide open to sea breezes and the sound of the ocean. Street side entrance is on the main walking street filled with restaurants and ambience. Nice continental buffet, included in the price, in an airy room facing the ocean. I've been here before, and it has all the qualities that you would want in a perfect hostel.

Honestly one of the nicest hostels I have ever been definitely recommend! Its would be even better if they organised some free events at the hostel not just tours. But definitely stay at this hostel for some nights in Rio, maybe not super long, the walk up and down to the hostel gets a bit tiring.

Pura Vida is just 200 metres from Copacabana Beach, and features barbecue facilities, a party area and free Wi-Fi. The 24-hour front desk arranges airport shuttle and bike rental services. Perfect stay in rio. Every staff is kind you can be friend with them. And nice place to meet other treavlers. Every day they have event and tour I really enjoyed Especially samba dancing with camilo was really fun. He have positive energy, you can feel it I'm gonna miss this place

One of the best hostel I’ve ever stayed! The place is incredible and clean, the staff is so kind and makes you feel like home, and even better than that. The swimming pool and the private mountain with the amazing view on Rio are the cherries on the top. I highly recommend it!

The nicest and most welcoming people! Seriously the best staff :) Very clean hostel, 3 bathrooms, nice social area, good energy, good wifi! And the location…!!! So close to everything (bus stop, beaches, good resfaurants) but in a calm area. I can ONLY recommend it!!
