Lijiang Ancient Town is an 11-minute walk from Mama Naxi Guesthouse. Lijiang Railway Station is an 18-minute drive away. Lijiang Sanyi Airport is 20 km from the property. A very comfortable, homey place, close to the Ancient town but in a less touristy neighborhood full of eateries. The manager was extremely helpful in helping me to book a bus for the gorge hike. They also let me store my luggage on the night of the hike.

Yi's Hostel is a 10-minute walk from Guishan Park and Moonlight Square. Walking Street is a 15-minute walk away. The owner is very friendly and helpful, plus they speak English very well! He also organised the tour to Shika mountain even it was just only me. The location of the hotel is also good and close to the main tourist attractions. The room was clean and had proper amenities.

Perfect location in the ancient city. There is a nice cafe in the hostel with Yunnan specialty coffees and indoor / outdoor seating. Rooms are very clean and there is even a Western style toilet. Hard to find in Yunnan. Staff speaks some English as well. Very helpful with directions to different attractions around Dali.

Though not fancy, it is so special and our favorite . The location is perfect too.

It features a pool table, table tennis, books and magazines at the cosy lounge area. Friendly staff and very helpful. Also had a nice kitchen that has a good variety of food to choose from. Location was very good. Nearby subway station and a beautiful green lake park within 5 minutes walk.
