Ron the owner and the staff are friendly, helpful and really want you to be as comfortable as possible. If you want to see wildlife , then this is the place to visit. The well signed trails are great some leading to waterfalls and to unbelievable views over breathtaking landscapes. The rooms are simple but effective in immersing you into nature.

Everything was so nice: from the pool to the kitchen. Also the staff is very nice and all the people staying here too, which brings an amazing vibe! I would definitely recommend it to someone else too!

All units will provide guests with a fridge. Super cosy and great atmosphere! You feel like you are staying at a friends house and I love that! Chelsea and Lenin are awesome and so heartwarming! I will definitely be back some day! I can also really recommend Lenin as a surf instructor! He reads his students perfectly and you feel super safe with him! He takes you different places in Santa Teresa and get to experience different kinds of waves and have fun!

At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a terrace. At Surf Shack Room #1 each room is fitted with air conditioning and a private bathroom. The location was fairly quiet as there wasn't much road traffic going by. There was AC and the shower had hot water, which my wife loved. The kitchen was an ample size and had everything we needed; even Tupperware to keep our extra food so we didn't leave it in the pans. The rooms didn't feel cramped and had shelf space to put our things. The beds we're comfy and the towels were soft. The covered common area outside the kitchen was a great place to eat and for my wife to work. We would stay here again.

Perfect stay! Great location in the middle of nature. Nothing fancy, just connection to Costa Rica beautiful nature ! Comfy beds, everything you need, waking up with birds in the middle of the garden. Heyner’s family is so nice, his wife is cooking a great breakfast and dinner. They booked the mangrove trip which was amazing and we had horseback riding with Heyner. It was a great experience . We will definitely come back!!

Monteverde Ecological Sanctuary is an 8-minute walk from Hostel Cattleya - Monteverde, Costa. The nearest airport is Tambor Airport, 67 km from the property. The owner was very friendly and helpful and helped me and my friends with everything. Tours, transportation and was always very responsive and helpful. I would book again solely because of how kind and helpful he was!

Dorms, private rooms with shared bathroom and family rooms at the Hostel have a balcony with ocean views. Everything was perfect. We stayed at the studio and it was in perfect condition. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast was good, you can choose among 3-4 options. Great location: close to Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park.
