The breakfast was absolutely delicious and she was kind enough to make us a superb dinner too as we were too tired from our travels to go out. The lovely host is responsive and happy to organise cheap transport for you to go wherever you need in Aswan. It might seem out of the way but the location is perfect for all the sights. I would 100% return here to enjoy the beautiful view, the delicious home cooked food, and the company of the wonderful hostess.

I've never been at a hostel with such a good vibe. I felt so welcomed and valued from the start. Ghandi is the best! He is so kind and takes care of all his guests and makes them feel at home. His staff is also great and I met the nicest people at this hostel. It really felt like a place where you are welcome just the way you are and people come to enjoy each others company and share beautiful memories. I extended my stay and can't wait to come back to this hostel in the future. <3 Everything else was perfect too: Check-in so easy, location is nice and calm, the rooftop is cozy and the view is stunning, everything is clean, kitchen big and tea always available, breakfast is really delicious and the sitting area very comfortable and welcoming. P.S.: The cat, Micho, is also so fluffy and the secret attraction of the hostel :D

If there’s a rooftop or terrace, the view and vibe are just the cherry on top — the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring. The price is very reasonable for what you get — great service, comfort, and a memorable stay. It’s definitely great value for money. I highly recommend Wanees Hostel to solo travelers, backpackers, and anyone looking to experience authentic hospitality in a cozy, friendly environment. I’d definitely stay here again!
