The staff are all so friendly and helpful, the price is fair, the free breakfast is great, rooms are clean & quiet and there are curtains in the shared dorms which help with privacy and blocking out the light. I was hesitant to write a review cos I don't want it to be booked out next time I come back!

The space is a masterclass in intelligent design: the bedroom’s lofty ceilings created an airy, serene escape, while the sleek, modern bathroom (with proper dry-wet separation) rivaled those in luxury hotels. And oh, the bedding! Wrapped in sumptuous Egyptian cotton, I slept more soundly here than at my five-star Hurghada resort—proof that true comfort lies in quality, not just price. What truly set Layla apart, though, was its warmth. The staff treated me like a cherished guest, not just a customer. When I admired their fragrant incense, they insisted I take some as a gift—a small gesture that captured their generous spirit. For solo travelers seeking tranquility in Cairo’s heart, this isn’t just accommodation—it’s a sanctuary. I left already longing to return.

Mirula and martin were so nice to me during my short stay as well as the rest of the hostel staff. They even allowed me to store my bags for a few hours, even though I had just arrived from a different location late evening while my flight departed at midnight, thank you so much Mirula! Hope to see you all again☺️

We felt so fortunate to have found Dar Pyramid View Inn, not only because of the emaculate rooms and beautiful panoramic views, but because of Mahmoud and Ibrahim's hospitality. I got very sick during my stay, and Mahmoud went out of his way to contact a local doctor, drive me to the appointment, and help me get medicine. Throughout our stay, they made us feel so welcome, as if we were family, always making us feel comfortable and accommodating all our last minute needs (like staying an extra night, organizing taxis and tours, late check-outs). We are so grateful to them for making our stay so wonderful, and for all their help. The rooms are very clean, cozy, and have beautiful views, and the breakfasts are delicious. We cannot recommend this place enough, and hope to be back one day!!

We had two reservations with them between traveling throughout Egypt and they were always assisting us during our stay and even after we checked out with whatever we needed (e.g. giving us recommendations of Cairo and other places). The rooms are spacious and the location is great and very alive. Highly recommend!

Staff are very helpful, accommodating, and nice! They can help you get uber if you are having issues with booking. Location is perfect. Less than 5min walk to the Pyramids Entrance/ Ticket counter. I got a great room with a direct view of the pyramids. Super nice! I can see the pyramids from the bed overlooking the balcony. There’s free water, coffee, and tea and sugar in the room. Rooftop was a great spot to see the pyramids as well. And they give you a big, hearty, breakfast. The bed was so comfortable as well. I slept really well. It was also quiet. AC works well. The door is very sturdy. Good supply of water. There is hot water in the shower. They provide shampoo and body wash and hand wash. There are towels as well. But the shower stall is quite small though (because the sliding door is limiting the space a bit) so could be an issue for others but works well for me as I am petite.
