The place is only 3 months old, so everything is clean and modern. Nice espresso machine available anytime, good for early risers like me 😄. Staff were always friendly and polite. I only stayed one night but definitely will return to stay for longer. Great location

I will come back!!

The location up on the Hill gives it such a special atmosphere, with greenery and views of the city. The hosts Julien and Stefan were kind, funny and attentive, really making a difference in my stay. The house itself is clean, cozy, and has a great community feel. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants something more personal and memorable than just a standard stay. I cant wait to visit again!!

At the hostel, every room is fitted with a shared bathroom with a shower. This is really an amazing place to be. Located in a very small village in the mountains and forest everywhere. The village is itself very nice, amazing quiet, you only hear the birds at daytime and the crickets at night. Everything basis you need is in the village, a supermarket, a place to drink coffee and eat. The hostel is located in a white community building. Place is very clean. People in the hostel are very friendly and the people in the village too. Room is nice. Toilets and showers are abundant. Hourly busconnection from the village to Szob (and some other little villages and sometimes even direct bus to Vac) with bus 350 and 354. Takes 15 minutes to Szob. There you have hourly - or more - a train to Budapest Nyugati station and also westbound trains to Slovakia, Sturovo, Bratislava and all the way to Brno and Prague. Really good place to get positive energy and relax. English is not widely spoken, one lady could speak very good German. But people will help you, even if you don't speak Hungarian. If you need party life, take a train to Budapest and come back after the party and relax and re-energize in Marianosztra. Place is so nice actually, that one might not even need wifi (wifi was also very good), but you will actually start to live really. Muzea are also in the village and there is a steamlocomotive-line to Szob. There is also a kitchen downstairs, also very clean with all facilities you need.

The area is popular for cycling, and bike hire is available at the hostel. The artfully decorated apartment faces a quiet lane and has a full kitchen and two bedrooms, one with a separate bathroom and shower and one without. We stayed at the one without but we have access to the bath and toilet in the common area basically all to our own. The location is excellent, with many attractions in walking distance and many supermarkets and shops literally downstairs. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and provided excellent information on how to enjoy the city. Because of the insider knowledge, we got to follow the lead of the locals and hangout at the racetrack for the new year's eve. It was an amazing experience.

This is the best hostel to stay in the heart of Budapest. Easy to reach from the airport by bus and a short walk. Central to all sites and the area awesome for shopping. The best part has to be the welcome by the staff who treat you like an old friend on a visit rather than just another tourist. Cant thank Julian the owner enough for bringing this little hostel to life.
