Have been to Darjeeling quite number of times but this place gave me a completely new experience and perspective. The food here is too good. I would stay in and eat food from the hostel. Had an amazing stay at Hills tale hostel.The location is calm, just walkable from bus stand and market and the owners and staffs were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the dorm room—it was spacious, well-lit, and the beds were super comfortable, offering a great night's sleep. The room was also kept very clean, and there were lockers for securing valuables. It was a perfect environment for relaxing after a day of exploring. I would definitely recommend Hills tale for anyone looking for a fun, social experience on a budget. I’d happily stay here again.

I checked many places before choosing this hostel, and I’m really glad I did. The location is excellent, and I felt safe in the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and helpful, they let me check in early and also store my bag after check-out. I stayed in the female dormitory and everything was clean and comfortable. A solid choice for anyone visiting Kolkata.
