This was a great help and very much appreciated! On check in Michikusa recommended a few points of interest to visit during my stay according to the weather. I managed to tick most of them off which made for a great day exploring the beautiful surrounding nature. The hostel is well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was a pleasure staying there and I would 100% return on my next visit! Thank you!

The house is very calm and within walking distance of the lake and the bridge. They offer free bike rental (though there are only a few bikes available), which is great for exploring the area. Machiko was very kind and helpful for us. We're going back from Mt.Fuji and overdue for check-in, but anyway, we found the best solution and got the cozy and clean room for rest and recovery.

It was very clean and quiet, even though it's a hostel. The whole place was very cozy and stylish, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was big and had absolutely everything anyone could need. You can see Fujisan clearly from panoramic windows in the dining space. The area was quiet, but there are restaurants, convenience stores and a supermarket within a 10-minute walk.
