Located along Guesthouse Street, The Magic Sponge welcomes guests with a Jasmine garden, restaurant and bar. It features multiple balconies and offers views of the mountains. William the owner and staff bent over backwards to accommodate my wishes. Tasty food and huge portions. Terrific location, super clean rooms. I‘ve been coming to Kampot a number of years now. This guesthouse is the best by far in Kampot for value of money. I would give it 11 out of ten if I could.

The staff are friendly, Rath at reception was super helpful with bike renting and recommendations. Facilities are clean. Great food and plenty of alcohol to choose from😉 and always something happening in the evenings. 100% would recommend!

Staff is very welcoming and helpful, the owner is attentive to his guest needs and a wonderful person to have a chat with. The location offers multiple activities, there is the waterfall, a zip line, hiking spots and relaxing locations all around the complex you are also not far from the town center. The restaurant offers western and local food options and it was good. My whole experience was a highlight itself, I felt welcomed and at home. I want to thank the staff and the owner for making this experience memorable and hope to be back soon.
