Good kitchens, quiet and free laundry was a nice bonus. Was in a six bed dorm and although everyone kept different hours everyone was considerate of the others in the room. Also well located to explore Wellington. Note - The number 2 bus drops you off just up the hill from the hostel if you arrived by ferry from the south island.

Trek Global features 4 communal guest kitchens and a barbecue area. It is a 10-minute walk from Wellington’s CBD and Wellington Waterfront. Free unlimited WiFi is provided. The staff are the best part of this establishment. They are very kind , warm , accomodating and receptive. I was so tired after my overnight bus to Wellington and they arranged for my early check-in without even asking. The room was spacious and cute . It was well heated and there was a stand fan too. The washroom was nearby and there are plenty in each floor and well equipped. The room had complimentary coffee and tea too. It was comfortable all in all. The bus stop is also quite close by ..just 160 metres.

Resturant connected to building and other places for food on the same street. Great spot for Travelers of all ages.
