The owner (Rafael) conveniently made all the arrangements for picking us up from the airport and taking us back to the airport at no additional charge. Every meal was unique and exceptional. Always with the touch of local cousin including rare tropical fruits. Perfect location if you are open to spend some time directly on the Tambapata river in the jungle in a quiet isolation. Make sure to go with Rafael on sunset river tour, he’s incredibly knowledgeable about flora and fauna of the region.He will bring English speaking guide on the trip. He can help make arrangements for the other tours.

The guides were wonderful! The food was really good and there was plenty of it. Our son who is a picky eater was also able to find enough to eat. We loved all of the adventures! We stayed in the bigger lodge and it was fun. We were basically the only ones in it, so it could be noisier when it's full. You have to think of it as glamping, not a hotel. It's the jungle after all! We loved being able to see butterflies and birds outside the bathroom window screen! Truly an incredible and unforgettable experience!

The two tours offered by Roger are the best in town and they have been the highlight of our trip to Puerto Maldonado. Definitely recommended!
