So close to the beaches. Beds were super comfy, very clean with everything looking brand new. Staff was really nice and helpful. They have a Harry Potter cupboard under the stairs where you can store your luggage for the day after check out. So cute!

I had the pleasure of meeting Paula from Poland and Natalia from Brazil. They were ever so helpful and welcoming. The place, although geared mostly for surfers, is amazing. There is a certain vibe which makes one feel relaxed and friendly. There is everything one needs. My room had a desk, chair, closet, bedside tables with lamps, a tall mirror and towels. On the ground floor you have the reception, kitchen, more rooms, an outside area with hammocks, sofas, tables, a bar and sometimes music in the evenings.

Situated 300 m from Faro Marina, Casa da Madalena Backpackers backpackers features a rooftop terrace with views over the colourful marina and the historical rooftops and a 24-hour front desk reception for your convenience. The property also offers a luggage storage space. It's hard not to like this special hostel. Very friendly staff and an intimate environment where you'll easily get to know the other guests. If you're traveling alone and would like to meet other solo travelers to spend time with, it's ideal. There were guests of all ages as well. Facilities are excellent. Loved the lockers outside the 1st floor room, so you don't need to wake everyone every time you need something. The room was spacious, and the bed was pretty comfortable. BUT if you're looking to spend more time alone or don't really feel like socializing on a regular basis, this might not be the best hostel for you. It just depends on what you're looking for!
