I came here with a serious leg injury I had same day morning. Tharita (also known as DK Mama) took so good care of me- ordered food every time I was hungry and very good tasty food and super reasonably priced. She got me ice cubes to treat the injury and then also medicine from pharmacy. The place itself is so cool, it has kitchen, coffee, water all the time to your disposal. And then the dorms and beds are so homelike. They have this long cylindrical pillow (it was such a help for me to rest my knee at night) on every bed and even linen feels like home linen and not those typical hotel linen. The balcony adds additional touch. And the locality is so friendly again. And just 100 mts from property, there is convenience store and a huge food market where you can enjoy local Thai food at super reasonable price. And Tharita worships Buddha and she also has lord Ganesha and Laxmi which was an additional reason for me to feel home. I stayed here for 3 nights and would definitely return in future.

They have FREE shuttle to a different beach everyday. Also free breakfast (eggs, toast, ect.) overall its a very quiet, chill place to stay, close to the beach and the main area (2 mins walking). They even have a bluetooth speakers that u can connect to and play music. There are two bathrooms and two toilets- it was never a problem for me! Rooms are pretty nice - 4 bunk beds in each room which makes a total of 8 beds per room with place for charging and storage some things near ur bed. ALSO THANK YOU VERY MUCH - the owners managed to get me a ride to the pier in the very last moment, because it was raining heavily. I will definitely recommend this place to stay!

The stuff makes it great 😊 Lovely receptionist who is very easygoing and always ready for a small talk, to give you some pieces of advice where to go and always checks on how it's going for you. Guys at the bar are super nice. They are always ready to mix a cocktail, play pool or table games with you, and do a bit of talk. It's not a party hostel, but still there is a bar with coffee/cocktails, music (not very loud), pool, table games, console. Also there is a place where you can work with your laptop. The female dorm is clean, quite big, with a private bathroom and most comfortable stairs to the bed on the 2nd floor! Mattresses are good as well.

There is not too much going on here, but it is perfect to have some chill time before or after your Cheow Lan lake tour. Staff was very friendly and helped with organizing my tours. Dorms are very comfortable and well equipped, great value overall.
