Stone house is the house of my childhood and now it's my holiday house. It'been constructed gradually, mostly by my father. It is a typical traditional building, with personal artistic details, made with stone and tile roof, which provides protection from heat and natural conditioning, as it is located on a hill opposite the sea. I have to mention that during the night it'sso fresh that you need to close the windows. Furthermore, its location provides a great view to the sea and beatiful beaches of Himara. In addition, you can enjoy your meals or drink in a peaceful and quiet surrounding.

I am a teacher and I live in Athens. In the summer, I come here to spend my holidays with my parents. My parents rent their house in order to boost their incoming and restore the house step by step. Coming here every summer makes me dream of a better future and set new goals for life. But the most important is that this place is so serene that makes you reconsider things and enjoy the most of your life.

My neighbourhood is so amazing. It consists of small houses, built on a hill facing the sea. You can reach the houses by stairs, which give it a unique character, or by car following the car road, which goes from the back side of the hill. So as you come by car, you can enjoy the ride watching the spectacular view of all around the "village" of Himara. It's a place, which is extended from the upper point of the mount, where is located the "old" village, to the sea shore and rocks, with its touristic facilities, which are both breathtaking and peaceful. Last but not least, I should mention my friendly and always smiling neighbours, who will say hello and be willing to help.
