Josefstadt is the eighth district (8. Bezirk, Josefstadt) of Vienna (Austria), located very close to the city center and hidden by the great museums of the Ringstrasse. In the 15th century it was founded as a garden city on the outskirts of the medieval Innere Stadt. The most interesting place to see in Josefstadt is Maria Treu-Kloster with Piaristenkirche.
