CasaNeve was originally called “Villa Benedikt” and was built between 1906 – 1908 after plans of the famous architect Angelo Comini. Angelo Comini came to Bad Gastein in 1879 and started his own construction company with which he even built some of Bad Gastein's most well known buildings like: The Hotel Weismayr The old postoffice by the waterfall The Hotel Elisabethpark The Hotel Regina and The Grand Hotel Europe The facade of “CasaNeve” is typical for that time and has, except of renovations, not been changed. In 2010 the owner bought the then called “Villa Anker” and had it renovated up to today's standards but leaving the basic structure in the original condition.

We are positioned just above the old Centre of the town, and in-between the Stubnerkogel and the Centre. Hence you could always walk 100 mt down a footpath and catch the ski bus from the old Centre, in case you did not want to walk to the ski lift or use the car. From the ski lift walking back to the house it is about 5 minutes, hence no need for any ski bus. Around the house you have a choice of bars, hotels, restaurants, all within a 50 mt radius. One of the best restaurants in town is just below our house.
