I'm 37, and built Doug's Mountain Getaway with the purpose to help guests explore one of the best locations in the Alps from a different style of accommodation, which offers more. I love games, beautiful building materials, gadgets & technology, comfort, and sharing fun, happy times with loved ones. Oh, and sports and activities, which is why I've bought a massive range of kit for you to use, from snowboards to sledges to rock climbing gear to beach games...
You'll get my phone number, and I can often be around to show you where to find all the fun activities (or take you to do them myself!)
I live in a nearby village, so can come by if required, otherwise you won't be bothered by me :)
The third apartment is usually rented out by other guests (or by yourselves if you'd like to take that too). Just ask (or find the right listing for Doug's Mountain Getaway!)

Doug's Mountain Getaway is a friendly and cosy place where you set the pace – whether you lie back on a comfy sofa watching a film on our 100" cinema, enjoy a workout followed by a long bath, challenge your friends at pool or table tennis, or play one of our insane board games collection – we invite you to make yourself at home in the ‘Top Two Floors’ of ‘The Getaway’. The chalet is massive - you'll actually be getting 2 of the 3 apartments - each of which have 3 bedrooms and silly amounts of cool, unique features.

The location is hard to beat. It's nestled within one of Austria's most spectacular valleys, Stubaital, and surrounded by some of the country's highest peaks. 100% snow guarantee! You can ski and snowboard at the Stubai Glacier every month of the year except July & August.
The summer activities are equally bountiful – hiking, biking, lakes, mountain carting, and rock climbing to name but a few. I've compiled a guidebook of all my favourite activities – it'll keep you busy for two weeks straight whatever the weather.
