「A kilátás az fenomenális volt. Gyönyörű vízesések és az erdő ami körül vette a farmot, az mesébe illő volt.
Nemsokára visszatértünk! A házigazdák nagyon kedvesek és figyelmesek voltak.」

Do you prefer to be undisturbed on holiday and look after yourself? Then we offer holiday flats in a dreamlike nature and a completely relaxed time-out on our estate.
The history of the farm probably dates back to the time of the repopulation and clearing of the area, with the foundation of the lordship and the castle Frondsberg, which was built in the first half of the 13th century. An Ulreich Ekchart in der Grub is mentioned for the first time in the Montfort Urbar (around 1420). The further history can be traced without gaps from 10.2.1772 with the marriage of Jakob Schloffer, vulgo Jagl in der Grub, to Anna Stainer until today. The farm remained in the possession of the family under the name Schloffer until the grandfather, vulgo Franzl in der Grub, of the current owner.
The farm is situated in the middle of its 27 hectare area and the steep, amphitheatre-like terrain explains the vulgo name In der Grub (perhaps to be translated with depression) of the estate.
On the foundation walls and the old cellar vault of the former Rauchstubenhaus ( with an open fireplace in the main room), the house was rebuilt in 1999 using traditional timber block construction techniques and old building materials, and now houses three apartments.
A fourth apartment is available in the Kellerst?ckl, built on the vaulted cellar of a former press house.
