Königsleiten is located on the border to the "Hohe Tauern", THE national protection area of Austria. From here you can see the highest mountains in this country and you are in an incredibly preserved nature. The ski area is the Zillertal Arena, one of the largest combined ski regions in Austria. Hundreds of perfectly groomed slopes can be accessed directly from Königsleiten, into the Zillertal and back again. In terms of cuisine, this place with its numerous restaurants and bars also has a lot to offer. Après-ski and night life are also held up here and you can spend long nights. The Krimml waterfalls are in the immediate vicinity and are always worth a visit.
