Pension Rieder is 500 metres from the ski lift in the Maiskogel Ski Area and a 5-minute walk from Kaprun’s centre. Limited free use of the on-site sauna and steam bath are offered.

Rieder Pension is a 3-minute walk from the ski bus to the Schmittenhöhe and Kitzsteinhorn Mountains. It is also located at a cross-country skiing trail and the Tauernradweg, a cycling trail.
The Tauernspa is 1 km away, and horse carriage tours in Kaprun can be arranged.
