“Chesterfield Farm Stay”, a 45-minute drive northeast of Kingaroy in the beautiful South Burnett provides the opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, wildlife and flora and spoil yourself with a relaxing stay, time to breathe and reconnect. Adjacent to a patch of remnant semi-evergreen scrub the bird life is amazing.
My home is your home. You will share it with me as I live here. Help yourself and make yourself at home. Perfect for bush walkers, bird watchers, photographers, artists, families, friends, couples or even individuals. Everything you need for the perfect break.
Grab the champagne and take a stroll up to Wine Tree Hill to immerse yourself in an unforgettable sunset. Don't won't to walk that far, grab some fire wood and sit by the fire.
I, the chooks and steers would love you to come visit.
I love the opportunity to meet new people and love sharing my piece of paradise... so peaceful and quiet. I love the outdoors - bush walking, bird watching, photography, travelling, exploring new destinations and getting my hands dirty on the farm.

There are plenty of cellar doors to explore in nearby Moffatdale (20-minute drive) & Kingaroy – if you can tear yourself away from this private oasis. Sample award winning food and wines, wet a line in one of the area’s dams or waterways (Bjelke Petersen Dam or Boondooma Dam or even drop a line in the nearby Byee Weir), visit a weekend market, browse through art galleries and museums, follow the heritage rail trail, participate in a park run, explore Boat Mountain Conservation Park (don't forget to look up to spot a koala), just to name a few….
Dining options include the Murgon Services Club, Wondai's recently refurbished Hotel 1903, Murgon Motor Inn, Royal or Australian Hotels in Murgon.
Just 15 minutes to Murgon, 45 minutes to Kingaroy, 3 hours to Brisbane and is the ideal location for the Goomeri Pumpkin Festival, Murgon Music Muster, Wondai Garden Expo and the regular park runs.
