Ellington Grove is a unique cottage built around 1870, set on a five acre property in Candelo, Bega Valley in NSW, Australia. The decor immediately takes you to another world from times gone by, with touches of velvet, beautiful linen and decor reminiscent of the Jazz age. The cottage is set into to side of the hill with privacy all around. It sits on the outskirts of the quintessential Aussie town of Candelo. You can walk to town from the cottage in less than 10 minutes and you'll find the Candelo Cafe and General store where they have delicious breakfasts, lunches and great sweet treats. It is ideal for a romantic getaway for two and we have had many a proposal and lots of honeymoons. We have a beautiful outdoor bath on the verandah where you can watch the sunset and relax with a glass of wine. The courtyard is very welcoming with the outdoor fire pit, table and chairs as well as comfy Adirondack chairs to while away the hours around the fire pit.
With the country towns of Pambula, Merimbula and Tura Beach close by you can easily take a trip to the local beaches...all within about a half hour drive.
