HISTORY
This enchanting property has a 50yr history, formerly the home of Astrologer Richard Sterling, known for his Astrology columns in the Women's Weekly and Woman's Day over a 39yr period. His dream was to transform the gardens into an Astrology garden to benefit his favourite charity, the Handicap Children's Home - opened to the public in 1992. It was touted as the first of it's kind in the world.....Simply stunning!
Today, we are blessed to offer these magical gardens with colourful birds who visit.
** The gardens and courtyard are the only shared space on the property.
Having been involved in the Service industry and recruitment for many years has been wonderful experience and the perfect cross over into hosting guests from all around the world. I absolutely enjoy meeting and greeting our guests and being of service to offer them the best time at the retreat.
My love of gardening and horticulture has come in handy in revitalising these unique gardens. Together with my wonderful gardener Aaron we do our best. They require constant attention especially when the Lyrebirds come digging for worms with soil all over the steps and pathways.
Joss my Manager and I share the same values. She makes incredible swans out of towels on the bed with rose petals for guests celebrating wedding anniversaries, and we work closely together to ensure guests have what they need and are happy. Being a small business gives us the opportunity to be personable and caring. The bottom line is that we absolutely love helping you create happy memories.
My interest in Numerology and Astrology made this the perfect property for me. I used to read Richard's columns in various publications in the 90's so when the property came up I felt privileged to buy it as my forever home with a twist.
This property as a retreat is to help guests slow down, breathe, enjoy a bushwalk and take time for themselves to recharge.
It would be such a pleasure to host you soon I hope.
regards
Dalia xx
