My love of nature and the outdoors including hiking has enabled me to enjoy so much of this beautiful state. In doing so a constant favorite place has been Goolwa Beach and hence my love of the Fleurier Peninsula and all that it offers.
Cooking and gardening are also passions and so it was important that the quality of the property reflected this for guests to enjoy.
I have had extensive experience in hosting properties over the last two decades in particular on Kangaroo Island. That included numerous beachfront properties, one of which was featured in SA Life a few years ago.
As host my purpose is to ensure that guests receive a high level of customer service throughout the process including ensuring the holiday stay is of a high standard.
It is a very quiet neighbourhood and the street residents are a mix of permanent and holiday home rentals. It is a friendly community and the street is well light up at night.
There is very little traffic and at times you can hear the ocean waves rolling in throughout the day and night.
The white sandy beach of Goolwa is well known and beautiful but there is so much more to discover and enjoy.
Goolwa was a thriving river port so there are many historic buildings and features, the newly renovated Goolwa Wharf and a ride on the Cockle Train, a steam train journey to enjoy. Pristine white sand and surf beaches that stretches all the way to the River Murray Mouth. Gather pipis or cockles on the beach in summer and look out for Southern Right Whales in the winter months.
The town centre has great pubs, a microbrewery, restaurants and cafes only minutes away from the beach house.
Goolwa Wharf Markets are held every Sunday during summer, Goolwa Animal Farm, local wineries, walking trails, bike tracks, live concerts and artists performing regularly are all only five minutes away from Pavilion Goolwa Beach.
