Heartwood Farm is luxury farm stay accommodation on a 102 acre cattle farm established in the early 1900s. Nestled on the banks of the Wilson River and located in Federal in the picturesque Byron Bay Hinterland. You will fall deeply in love with this place. Days or weeks can be spent reading, taking long baths, walking through meadows, swimming, fishing, dreaming, loving — and like us, you will never want to leave. This luxury country cottage has been designed, renovated and styled with love featuring furnishings from around Australia and the world. It is brimming with curated collections, fine linens and cosy textures. Heartwood Farm is our getaway, so no detail has been spared. It has everything you need to luxuriate. Heartwood Farm sits on its own ridge surrounded by big skies, rolling vistas and grazing cows. The Wilson River forms the north eastern boundary and is the perfect place for swimming, fishing and lazy summer picnics by the secluded swimming hole. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. We have a single roll-out bed available if a 5th guest wishes to stay. Bedroom 2 will not be accessible unless 3 or 4 guests are staying. If you are only 2 guests but require access to the second bedroom, you will need to choose 3 guests as we have a per room rate charge. We stock an essential pantry, which includes: ground coffee beans, black, green and peppermint teas, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pasta, and flour.

Craig and I have spent many years renovating and styling properties together – it is a passion we love and share. Craig is a builder by trade and his attention to detail is absolute and will shine through when you visit our beautiful Heartwood Farm. I have spent years collecting wonderful vintage pieces to furnish the cottage that we are sure you will love and appreciate as much as we do.
