Perched above the sparkling waters of historic Norfolk Bay in Taranna, Little Darlin’ is a spacious, light-filled home that offers comfort, charm, and breathtaking views. Originally a quirky 1960s beach shack, she captured the hearts of her owners from the start. What followed was a true labour of love—room by room, the home has been thoughtfully restored into a warm and generous retreat, perfect for relaxing or reconnecting with loved ones.
The house features three beautifully styled bedrooms—two with queen beds and one with a single—each uncluttered and inviting. The open-plan living area is the heart of the home, with floor-to-ceiling bifold doors that frame the bay like a painting. On cooler days, you can settle in by the fire, stream your favourite shows on the smart TV, or simply watch the light shift over the water.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar, coffee machine, and dishwasher, making it easy to prepare meals to enjoy around the antique dining table. The bathroom has been stylishly renovated, and a separate toilet adds convenience for larger groups. There's also a spacious mudroom and laundry area with everything you need for longer stays (laundry, ironing, vacuum, etc).
Step outside and you’ll find multiple spaces to unwind—an outdoor fireplace, BBQ, and several seating areas make it easy to relax and soak in the views. The sun-soaked front deck is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink while watching the bay.
Little Darlin’ is also a fantastic base for exploring the Tasman Peninsula. You’re just minutes from the Taranna boat ramp and only 15 minutes from Eaglehawk Neck, making it ideal for fishing trips, with plenty of space to park trailer boats. Nearby, you’ll find World Heritage-listed convict sites, the iconic Three Capes Track, dramatic coastal formations like Shipstern Bluff, sea arches and blowholes, plus local distilleries, beaches, and charming cafés.
