My apartment no. 2105 is privately owned but within the “Drift Palm Cove” Resort, and is managed by the resort. The resort is across the road from the beach at Palm Cove and is surrounded by dining & cafe options and day-spas, with easy access to golf courses and nearby adventure-sports, plus the iconic Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest. Palm Cove lies on a palm-fringed 4km stretch of sandy coastline 20 minutes north of Cairns CBD and Airport.

There are 7 different cafe and restaurant and tavern options within a 100m radius from this apartment, 5 of which are attached to the "Drift Palm Cove" resort complex. 500m up the road (north-bound) is a supermarket and pharmacy, along with several other restaurants and cafes. Every 30m in between each resort, are cafes & restaurants attached to other resort complexes. There is reserved on-site parking plus public transport, taxi and Uber options to access the site. The “Drift Palm Cove” resort has a courtesy wheelchair available for those in need during their stay. My apartment’s shower has a grab-rail and there are two portable shower seats available for use in the bathroom.
