Set high above Cairns, this elevated home offers breathtaking panoramic views, a private pool, and open-plan living designed for ultimate relaxation. Each of the three spacious bedrooms features a private ensuite, with two opening directly to nature for a unique, immersive experience. The expansive decks, complete with alfresco dining and a BBQ, are perfect for unwinding in the fresh rainforest air. Fully air-conditioned, with a modern kitchen and seamless indoor-outdoor flow, this home provides a tranquil escape while being just minutes from Cairns' vibrant dining, shopping, and attractions. Surrounded by lush rainforest, guests may encounter local wildlife, enhancing the natural experience. Due to steep terrain and open-plan design, this property is not suitable for children or infants. A rental car is recommended for exploring the Great Barrier Reef, beaches, and stunning hiking trails nearby. Our home is a wonderful and distinctive property. In order that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, can you please confirm that you have considered some of the unique features of our home: - The house is set in the forest and is an “open air living” style, meaning you will likely encounter wildlife / bugs. All bedrooms are fully sealed with fly screens and AC. - Three of the four ensuites are indoor/outdoor style bathrooms and they open to the surrounding forest. One of the bathrooms is fully enclosed. - As the home is in a tropical rainforest, we ask guests not to walk through the surrounding forest due to potential risks from wildlife, insects, and plants. - The house has many steps and a steep driveway. - The house is not suitable for toddlers and young children.

Edge Hill is the most sought-after area in Cairns for good reason - a tranquil neighbourhood surrounded by forest yet only 5 minutes to the airport, 10 minutes from downtown Cairns, and 20 minutes to the northern beaches. The Edge Hill village area contains some of Cairns' best restaurants, such Noa and Guerilla. Shopping can be done at the local Piccone's IGA precinct, while Cairns Central shopping centre is just 10 minutes away. Edge Hill is also Cairns' cultural hub, with the renowned Tanks gallery housing exhibitions, concerts and events. The Cairns Botanical Gardens are located just five minutes drive from the house. A local favourite is the Red Arrow walking track (be warned - many steps!) leading to panoramic views of the ocean. The Whitfield Conservation area also has several longer walking tracks through stunning forest.
