Welcome to Jervis Bay, and in particular to the Quiet Quarters stay in Woollamia. Quiet Quarters is a one bedroom fully self contained Guesthouse available for your enjoyment and relaxation. The guesthouse is accessed through a private gated courtyard where there is outside seating and BBQ facilities. The kitchen has ample cupboard space, and all the cooking utensils you could need. Whilst there is no stove, there is a 2 x burner electric hob, and electric frypan for your use, a toaster and kettle. The kitchen has a basic selection of salt / pepper, Sauces (in fridge) and spices. The coffee station is on a Sit / Stand desk, and you can move this to provide a dining area, or you can use as a desk to work from. I have a porta cot that you may borrow. please be aware that safety is your responsibility when using this item. The refrigerator will be stocked with UHT milk and a jug of filtered water. You will have full access to the back yard, and through the back gate is Curambene Creek, where you can sit and relax, fish, or use the fire pit. You can launch Kayaks or canoes, if you choose to bring them, and there is a small home made boat ramp at the end of the road, or the main boat ramp in Woollamia (2mins) if you prefer. There is plenty of parking on site, boats / caravans can be accommodated if required. PLEASE NOTE: There are 2 older dogs on the property, but they can be kept very separate from the guesthouse. They are both rescue dogs, and my lovely 3 legged staffy is always up for a chat. You are welcome to the use of my laundry if you require.

Hi I'm Sue, and I am your host. I live in the main house on the property, and I am happy to be able to be of assistance if you require. This does not mean that I will interfere in your holiday at all, unless you need me. Please come and enjoy. You will probably find me sitting on my verandah outside, whiling away the afternoon. The dogs will be around and about, but again, can be contained as per your preferences - there is enough space for everyone.

We are a 4min drive from Huskisson, where you will find quirky shops, lovely restaurants, two pubs, and many cafes. Huskisson is also the gateway to Jervis Bay, and there are a number of excursions on the bay where you can look for dolphins and whales when in season. We are also minutes from two local craft Breweries where you can sit and enjoy local food and beverages. A ‘pop up’ food truck is often in attendance. Kiama is only 45 mins away for a great day out, watching the blow hole, fresh fish market, great fish and chip shop on the harbour edge, and the great markets available. Stop off in Berry for another quaint little shopping experience. They have a monthly market which is a popular attraction. Also Nerriga - and of course the famous Nerriga pub is a great place to drive for lunch - about 1hr. In itself, the drive is very pleasant, and you may wish to stop at Oallen Ford, where you can fossick in the water for gems, or just pretty rocks. Mogo is also a 45 min drive (approx) away which a great day out, visit the zoo, or just meander through the quaint shops.
