Located at the gateway to K'Gari , just 500mts to barge landing, boat ramp, fishing pontoon and local shops. 1/2 acre, absolute waterfront property looking towards the Mary and Susan rivers in rear, and K'Gari in the front, with great spots to enjoy a wine and watch the magnificent sunset (not swimming beach). Just minutes to endless safe beaches at Hervey Bay. Homely and private ground floor apartment, generously equipped for self cater with full size fridge, oven, gas cooktop, microwave. Help yourself to a selection of breakfast items at no extra cost. Most importantly we provide a comfortable queen size bed with a choice of pillows. Disabled accessible, walk in shower cubicle with good water pressure, and separate loo. Aids available by prior arrangement A large public carpark next door for your boat or caravan.
We love boating and kayaking, easy going couple early 60s Look forward to sharing our lovely location with our guests. Russ is a park ranger on K'gari so not always around but happy to share his knowledge of the island. Debi has a more sedate hobby, beaded jewelley, and is happy to share.
River Heads is a friendly neighbourhood. Short walk to local shops which include IGA, Chemist, Café, Real Estate. Friday night the local progress association serves great value meals and drinks at local hall just a short stroll away. Pop in and meet the locals and get some inside info.
