Enjoy the natural beauty surrounding this historic getaway. Welcome to a little piece of paradise. Set amongst the rolling hills of Tooborac on 6 manicured acres we have lovingly restored "Mimosa Glen" Homestead into a stylish and modern house with a touch of country charm all housed amongst some stunning gardens and lawns! With over 100 years of history the property is one not to miss. Located just 5 min from Tooborac (home to amazing beers and massive pies) and on the border of the Macedon Ranges and Heathcote wine regions there is plenty to see and do.
I'm a thirty something Australian who loves cooking, wine, travel, adventure, and now a new love for unwinding in the country! I have lived in Melbourne for over a decade and own a cafe in North Melbourne with another on its way.
There is so much to explore in the grounds of The Acres, let alone the surrounding areas! 5 minutes from Tooborac Hotel (the oldest pub in Victoria) and with McIvor Estate Winery right next door! Explore walking tracks, both macedon ranges and heathcote wine regions or book in a delicious dinner at one of the many restaurants in heathcote or lancefield.
