My husband, Peter and I live in a 170 year old historic homestead on 2 acres in Lilydale. 4 years ago my husband who is a builder and I built our first BnB cottage - "Sage Cottage" on part of the property. One year ago we completed "Rosebery Cottage". We have designed, decorated and furnished both houses in stunning "olde worlde" style. Both houses have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 x kitchens and 2 x lounge rooms. Each house sleeps 6 people. As we live in The Yarra Valley, we offer accommodation for families and friends who are attending Weddings and other functions, such as concerts at "Day At The Green At Rochford Estate" etc. It is a beautiful part of the world and we enjoy sharing it with our many guests. It's a great property for Bridal parties etc to get ready at and also to have some photos taken in our lovely gardens. We have been lucky enough to be allocated for purchase one of Melbourne's iconic "W Class" green & gold trams and within the next 2 years, will be renovating that into another, unique accommodation option.
Peter and I enjoy maintaining our property with it's gardens and quirky features and also enjoy going on holidays in our caravan.
We have 3 x adult children who we love to spend time with and a little "Havanese" dog called Koko.
I enjoy walking, tennis, reading and movies when I have some spare time. Peter enjoys his garden, working as a builder and we both enjoy our spending time with our friends and family.
We live in the Yarra Valley area and there are many wineries, breweries and sights to be seen and visited both in the Yarra Valley and also the Dandenong Ranges. Lilydale has an old country world charm and has many cafes and restaurants worth checking out.
