Lovely stay. Me and my partner very much enjoyed our time here. Perfect location, not too far from the shops and main road but far enough away not to deal with the busyness. Tidy, clean home, excellent.

The Pavilion is nestled on 10 acres. The quiet surrounds can only make for a seriously restful stay. Perfect for a rest and and away from all the daily pressures. You will feel an instant sense of relief when you walk in the garden, smell the fresh air and hear the birds singing. Access to grass turf tennis court. Kind on the knees and soft under foot. Weather dependent, usually summer months only. Landscape garden views from terrace and bedroom window. It is not unusual for Kangaroos and other wild life to call by from time to time. Towels and bed linen are provided for your stay. Electric blanket also for the colder winter months. Beach towels are also provided and beach umbrellas are free of charge to take to the local beaches. We also have an outside hose with a spray attachment for your use. Great for washing down your wetsuit or surfboard after your day at the beach. The undercover carport has a large clothes line which is handy for hanging wetsuits to dry. The Pavilion has free WiFi. If you choose not to go out to eat at the many restaurants in Torquay, there is a Webber Barbecue on the terrace for your use during your stay. Our fully equipped kitchen features an oven/grill, induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and reasonably sized fridge with freezer. Our laundry area has a washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board. Depending on the wind direction, it is not unusual to hear the noise of the waves in the evenings. There is a fire place for the colder winter months and by arrangement we can supply some timber for a small fee. Just let us know when you book if you might like to use the fire box. Secure hidden lock safe for personal items.
We are very excited to be able to share our landscaped space with our guests. Darina was born in Dublin, Ireland and left for Australia with husband Denis and their 10 week old baby Fiona on a one way ticket in 1987. They lived in Kyneton, Victoria for the first 6 years before moving to Torquay in 1993. We bought "Tuskar" Grossman's Road in 1996. Their son Nick was born in 1990 and Seamus 1993. Today Seamus, with Darina are the hosts for The Pavilion. We take pride in how we have grown such a special place to share with our guests and hope that they all enjoy the peace and quiet like we do.
Close drive to the RACV Resort which offers many activities including golf, full buffet breakfast at their upstairs restaurant, or you might prefer a high tea with home made cakes, all with magnificent views over the ocean. Super for dinner too. Only 5 mins to all Torquay has to offer. Surf shopping and retail shopping galore. Torquay front beach only 5 minutes by car. Guests at The Pavilion will be able to enjoy the many activities in and around Torquay, like snorkelling, windsurfing and cycling. Fishing and hiking can be enjoyed nearby. There are many cliff top or beach walks only 5 minutes by car from The Pavilion. Surf World Museum is a must see. This is where you can find the Tourist Information Centre with lots of brochures and information about the area. Rip Curl and Quicksilver factory outlets are fantastic for shopping. Always a bargain to be had. Walking on Point Addis Beach when the tide is out allows you to be able to visit the beautiful caves, and you might be lucky enough to even see some seals. The cliff top walk from Torquay to Bells Beach is beautiful. The views are amazing. Some days you can even see as far as Authur's Seat on the other side of the bay. Only a stones throw from the start of the Great Ocean Road and all it has to offer. An easy drive to Lorne and beyond for lunch or dinner.
