The Ryokan -Umi is a Japanese word of Ocean. This space is designed as a wabi-sabi style Japanese apartment. It is a botique and unique living style by the sea. The high floor position overlooking the Sydney harbour is a surreal experience. The fluid like interior architectural space extents the beauty of the ocean and embraces the guests upon arrival. If you wish to utilise the second bedroom. Please book the apartment for 4 guests. The small price difference is for the cleaning and dry cleaning fee.
We are both interior designers who love to share our interpretation of modern living with our clients and guets. We love to travel and learn from places we have been. The Umi is situated inside the residential side of Manly. It is right next to the world famous Manly Cove. 4 minutes walk from Manly Wharf and 5 miniutes away from Manly Corso where all the cafes and restaurants are.
