"Up the Back" is one of Bicheno's original Shacks.
It has been gently renovated to bring it up to date whilst still retaining its character.
The true feature of the place is the spectacular view overlooking the ocean and Redbill Surf Beach which leads on to the Penguin Sanctuary at Diamond Island.
My passion is surfing.
I enjoy anything outdoors, I run my dog, surf, garden, yoga and keep as healthy as possible.
Bicheno is a great place to live or visit, it's a quiet, peaceful town, a place you can enjoy by just being here.
Penguins are plentiful around the shoreline, best seen from the local Penguin tour or sometimes at dusk by sitting quietly at places like the Blowhole. Whales are visible during the northern migration in Autumn and return in the spring.
Bird life abounds and also the bush life, Wallabies, Possums, Tasmanian Devils, and many more. Nature world is a great place to see them all.
