Windows frame the surrounding landscapes, offering panoramic views of towering trees, snow-capped peaks, and the pristine wilderness beyond.Even for new visitors, Joseph Path offers a chance to reflect, unwind, and experience the simplicity of life away from the city’s noise. It’s the perfect escape for anyone longing for a break from the fast pace of modern living, offering an experience that is as enriching as it is restorative.
Joseph Path is not just a house; it holds the legacy of a man ,our father who cherished the outdoors, the late physics professor who was both a nature lover and an advocate for wildlife. His love for the mountain, where Joseph Path now stands, was profound. This retreat was where he found solace, accompanied by his loyal husky, who shared his passion for nature. Their bond with this place runs deep, making it a home filled with stories of adventure and moments of quiet reflection.

Blidinje Nature Park In the central part of the high mountains of Bosnia and Herzegovina, about half an hour's drive from Jablanica, at an altitude of about 1200 meters above sea level, lies perhaps one of the most beautiful parts of untouched nature in Bosnia and Herzegovina - Blidinje Nature Park. The park can also be accessed from the direction of Prozor-Rama, Tomislavgrad, or Posušje. Upon arriving at Risovac from Jablanica, the first sign you will see is the sign for Čvrsnica, or the road to the "Vilinac" mountain hut, which is located at about 1900 meters above sea level. The hut can be reached from Vitlenica through a three-and-a-half-hour hike over Čvrsnica. Just an hour’s walk from the hut is the most famous and characteristic part of Čvrsnica - Hajdučka vrata. After the sign for Vilinac at Risovac, and in the immediate vicinity of the Catholic cemetery and chapel, there is the first necropolis with several well-preserved stećaks. The most beautiful necropolis in the park itself is the necropolis of stećaks - Dugo Polje, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2016. The necropolis is located in the area of the municipality of Jablanica, on the way to Kedžara and Ramsko Lake. The stećaks are very well preserved and are one of the most important cultural landmarks in Blidinje Nature Park. In the park itself, there are around 150 stećaks at various locations, with the most found in Dugo Polje. The stećaks are something I often love to visit and photograph, so the necropolis in Risovac and Dugo should be the first places to visit upon arriving at Blidinje Nature Park.
